A Raspberry Shake is a low-cost, plug-and-play personal seismograph which combines seismic sensors (like geophones or accelerometers) with a Raspberry Pi computer.
It allows hobbyists, schools, and scientists to detect local and global earthquakes, streaming real-time ground motion data to a global citizen science network.
The graph at the top of the page is the live data feed from the Raspberry Shake RS1D located with the Weather Station and other station are plotted on the map, which also shows the location of detected earth quake events using a red circle.
